“So what’s your muse — what subject do you turn to frequently, more inspired each time?”
I sound like a broken record, so I’ll just post another picture of the cloud-laced sky at dawn.
Here, I’ll let Emerson have a go:
“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
I took this picture because of the unusually purple-yellow hues the sky was exhibiting as night fell. What I didn’t notice at the time was the UFO right in the middle of the picture. I was at a facility near the airport, so it could be an aircraft, but I didn’t hear any engines at the time. Zooming doesn’t really help, so I’ll leave it as an unexplained sighting.
